Just a note about this blog

Now that I've retired again this blog will be more about leisure activities than anything else. I will not be dwelling on my health issues, even though at present I'm having a lot of problems. There's days when I don't get out or am restricted in what I can do, these days come and go with frustrating  regularity and to write about them all the time would be too depressing. A casual observer would not see these and that's okay, I want this blog to be upbeat and full of positives.

Ophelia Colours Our Sky

Hurricane Ophelia picked up dust from forest fires in Portugal and spain, together with dust from the Sahara Desert and headed for the United Kingdom as a storm. Here in Middlewich there were a few drops of rain from time to time leaving dirty dusty deposits on our cars; the effect in the sky though was quite spectacular.

Photos For Sale

At last I have started to prepare a portfolio of photographs to sell. I originally intended to to this via my own website but in the end decided concentrate on producing usable photos.

At the time of writing I've some initial photos uploaded, however having become accustomed to the Photo4me website I am now in a position to prepare and upload more. Of course to be a success I have to sell some photos, here's hoping!
